How I run this project
I live my life in football by the following 5 things:
1. Always be you – Have fun and do it as long as it makes you happy
2. Help others – There is a large drop out rate in women’s sport so help parents, coaches, teachers and players to see why being a female athlete is so great.
3. Remember that you can never please everyone, pleasing everyone is unrealistic, so go back to 1 and 2.
4. Always give opportunities to students, they are the future of the professions.
5. Never settle for scraps from the table, trust your gut and always protect the next generation.

Professional Experience
I started my career in a large NHS acute trust in Scotland and completed 3 years of rotations in trauma and elective orthopaedics, neurology and neurosurgery at the directorate of clinical neurosciences, elderly orthopaedic rehabilitation, rheumatology, MSK outpatients and cardiothoracic surgery. I specialised in MSK outpatients for 2 years within a primary care GP practice. I then moved into private practice and football where I worked for 2 private clinics and an academy at a Scottish premier league club. I also covered pitchside work within the Scottish Championship.
I gained experience in hockey and martial arts before working with the Scottish Football Association covering their Women’s national teams of all age groups which allowed me to travel extensively.
Previous to this I played semi professional football in the W-League in the USA for 7 years and also played for Hibernian Ladies and Scotland U19’s.
Specialisations and Areas of Expertise
I specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and sport and exercise physiotherapy. I look at all things to do with female performance and I have a keen interest in strength and conditioning.
Personal Interests/Hobbies

My mastermind topics would be: Cats, Taylor Swift and the life and times of the Spice Girls.
